You can use the supplied PIXELA’s VideoBrowser to save high-definition (AVCHD) and Standard (DVD) movies to DVD disks*. High-definition disks can be played on commercially-available devices that support AVCHD, and Standard disks can be played on DVD players. If you are using a commercially-available recorder to create discs instead of PIXELA’s VideoBrowser, you will need to copy your recordings to the device. For details on how to create discs, see your recorder’s instruction manual.
*Your computer's disc drive has to support DVD writing.

      NOTE
When creating discs using a computer
      • Install the supplied VideoBrowser before you connect the camcorder to the computer for the first time. For details on how to install the software, see Installing PIXELA VideoBrowser (VIXIA HF G20 / LEGRIA HF G25) .
      • When creating high-definition discs, you will need to first copy your recordings to the computer.
      • For detailed procedures of creating discs, see the VideoBrowser software guide.

      IMPORTANT
Play back DVD (in AVCHD format) discs on DVD players that support AVCHD format, or on Blu-ray disc players. High-definition discs cannot be played back on DVD players that do not support AVCHD format. Be careful that you may not be able to eject discs from players that do not support AVCHD format.
