Save commonly used shooting modes and your configured function settings for reuse. To access saved settings later, simply turn the mode dial to [ 
]. Even settings that are usually cleared when you switch shooting modes or turn the camera off (such as self-timer settings) can be retained this way.

The procedure for registering custom settings is explained below.
1. Press the <Power> button to turn the camera on.
2. Enter a shooting mode with settings you want to save, and change the settings as desired.
3. Press the <MENU> button.
4. On the [ 
] tab, press the <

> buttons or turn the <
> dial to choose [Save Settings], and then press the <
> button.

IMPORTANT
- To edit saved settings (except their shooting mode), choose [ ], change the settings, and then repeat steps 3 – 5. These setting details are not applied in other shooting modes.
NOTE
- To clear information you have saved to [ ] and restore default values, turn the mode dial to [ ] and choose [Reset All].
