In shooting modes ( [

] ) the default setting is [

] (Auto flash) and the camera automatically judges the shooting environment to determine whether the built-in flash fires or not. Therefore, the built-in flash may automatically fire in low-light environments even if you do not want to use it.
To prevent the built-in flash from firing automatically, change the shooting mode, or press the [

] button to change the flash mode to [Flash off].
For more information on the flash settings that can be made in each shooting mode, please refer to the table below.
IMPORTANT
- The flash cannot be set to [Flash off] in [
] mode.
- The position and shape of the operation buttons may differ depending on the model you use.
1. Set the camera’s power switch to [ON].
2. Set the camera to [

] mode.
3. Press the [

] button to display the Quick Control screen. (The setting screen for [

] is shown in the example images below.)
4. Press the [

] keys to select [

] (Auto flash), or [
