EOS Utility is an application that brings together all of the functions required to communicate with the camera. Functions for downloading and displaying images, remote shooting, and camera control of each setting when an EOS DIGITAL camera is connected to a computer have been integrated.
Changes for EOS Utility 2.14.1 Updater for Windows :
- Supports EOS Kiss X70 / EOS Rebel T5 / EOS 1200D / EOS Hi, EOS M2.
- Supports the CN-E35mm T1.5 L F.
- Supports Windows 8.1.
- Compatibility under a specific environment of Wi-Fi/LAN communication has been improved.
To use this software, your computer has to meet the following system requirements.
1. Supported OSes
- Windows 8.1 (All 32-bit/64-bit systems)
- Windows 8 (All 32-bit/64-bit systems)
- Windows 7 (All 32-bit/64-bit systems except for Starter Edition)
- Windows Vista (Service Pack 2 for all 32-bit/64-bit systems except for Starter Edition)
- Windows XP Home Edition/Professional (Service Pack 3 for 32-bit systems)
2. Supported Computers
PCs with one of the supported OSes above preinstalled, that have USB ports as standard equipment. (Operation is not guaranteed on machines that have been upgraded.)
The .NET Framework 3.0 or later is required. *
*: Microsoft's .NET Framework will be installed along with EOS Utility.

EOS Utility 2.14.1 Updater for Windows is an update program for EOS Utility and can be used only when:
- Your PC has a previous version of the software installed.
OR
- Your PC has the CD-ROM inserted and recognizes a previous version of the software contained on the CD.
- When used with the EOS-1D X, the My Menu settings function is unavailable.
Please use the camera's menu for the My Menu settings function.
Please refer to the instructions below on how to download and install the software.
Exit all other applications when installing this software.
1. Make sure that at least one of the following applications is installed.
- EOS Utility
- EOS Viewer Utility
- File Viewer Utility
- Camera Window DSLR
2. Download "euw21401.exe" from the download page. Save the "euw21401.exe" file to a folder of your preference on your computer.
3. Double-click the "euw21401.exe" file. The installation of EOS Utility will start. (If the User Account Control window appears, follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.)
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
5. After the installation is complete, the EOS Utility installer may ask to restart the computer. In this case, restart the computer. If the installation is completed properly, the downloaded "euw21401.exe" file will not be necessary.
