Can memory cards that have been used in other cameras be used with this one? (EOS-1D X)

If you use a memory card that has been used with another camera, the following things could occur.
1. Images taken with this camera might not be recorded correctly
2. Because of differences in the file formats, images taken on another camera might not play back on this camera
3. Images taken might not start with the number 0001
When sharing a memory card between models, please transfer any necessary data to a computer before initializing (formatting) the card.
CAUTION
When the card is formatted, all images and data in the card will be erased. Even protected images will be erased, so make sure there is nothing you need to keep.
