The problem that push-scan starts by clicking the button on the machine has been rectified.
(Just like in Mac OS 10.5 or before, only MP Navigator EX launches).

1.[OS v10.11, 10.12, 10.13]
When scanning is executed with the setting of 25dpi/grayscale/Descreen on, the connection with the device is terminated.
If using the ICA driver,please do not scan with this settings.
2.[OS v10.11, 10.12, 10.13]
Scanning cannot be performed in the other user environment by switching users. The error message is displayed.
Please reconnect the computer with the printer, and scanning can be performed.
3.[OS X v10.7, v10.8, v10.9, v10.10]
If scanning cannot be performed from the scanner button or from the printer operation panel, install the ICA driver.
4.[OS v10.11]
(USB)Launch IJ Scan Utility in advance before scanning from the product (Push-scan).
5.[OS v10.12, 10.13]
(USB)Due to a change in the OS specifications, scanning from the product (by using the SCAN button) is not available. Perform scanning from a PC.
6.[OS v10.12, 10.13]
Phenomenon:
When an error occurs while scanning from ImageCapture, the Scan button is grayed out and cannot be pushed.
Solution:
Restart ImageCapture.
7.[OS v10.12, 10.13]
Phenomenon:
When a printer is used in a network connection, after switching users, as the scanner does not appear on ImageCapture, scanning may not be performed.
Solution:
Re-establish the network connection.
8.[OS v10.12, 10.13]
Phenomenon:
When performing scanning from ADF at resolution of 600 dpi, scanning for a reflection copy is performed.
Solution:
Perform scanning with a resolution setting other than 600dpi.
9.When scanning with a Simple mode of Image Capture, the message that an error has been reported from the scanner may be displayed. Use Advanced Mode to perm scanning.
Download / Installation Procedures
1. Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
2. Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
3. Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
4. Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
