Solution
You can select to record your movies and photos in the built-in memory or on a memory card. The built-in memory is the default memory for recording both.
CAUTION

Because there is no built-in memory, you cannot select between different recording media types.
1. Turn on the camcorder.
3. Select the [

Menu ] icon and press < SET > to open the setup menus.
4. Select the [

(Camera Setup 1) ].
5. Select the [ Rec Media for Movies ] or [ Rec Media for Photos ] and press < SET >.
6. Select the built-in memory or memory card* and press < SET >.
*When selecting the memory, you can check the total, used and approximate available recording time/number of photos (estimated based on the recording mode (movies) or photo size/quality (photos) currently in use).
7. Press < FUNC. > to save the settings and close the menu.
NOTE
- Select the built-in memory for recording movies if you intend to convert high-definition scenes to standard definition for Web upload or creating standard DVDs.
