Deactivating the LCD Monitor when Shooting (PowerShot G1 X Mark II / PowerShot G3 X)

When you use the Electronic Viewfinder [EVF-DC1] (sold separately), you can deactivate the camera’s LCD monitor.

Pressing the Electronic Viewfinder’s <

> button to switch display to the Electronic Viewfinder. Nothing will be displayed on the camera’s LCD monitor.

IMPORTANT

The viewfinder display and camera screen cannot be activated at the same time.
Touch operations on the camera screen are not possible while the viewfinder display is in use.
